Betreff des Beitrags: | What Exactly Is the Cross-Progression in Diablo 2: Resurrect |
Blizzard Entertainment is in the process of conducting an open beta test for Diablo II: Resurrected at the moment. This comes after an earlier test that was restricted to invite-only participants. Blizzard went over everything in detail in a blog post, and we have compiled a summary of the most important information below. Open Beta Version of Diablo II: ResurrectedThe open beta for Resurrected will take place from August 20-23No matter if you have preordered the game or not, anyone can participate in the open beta at no costIt will continue until the 23rd at 10 AM Pacific Time It is important to note that the end dates for the early access and beta testing periods for Diablo II: Resurrected are listed differently on the official blog post and on Blizzard's social media platforms. The official blog post states that the testing periods will end one day later. Let's put our best foot forward and hope that's the case. The beta gives players the opportunity to experience all that the game has to offer, and given that it won't be out for another few months, it should be fairly representative of the finished product. Xbox Live Gold And PS Plus Requirements Xbox Live Gold is required for the early access beta, but it is not required for the open beta. However, Xbox Live Gold will be required at launch. Although a membership in PlayStation Plus is not required to participate in early access or the open beta, it will be necessary to have a subscription in order to use the multiplayer features once the game is released. Not Currently Offered On Switch Both the early access and open beta versions of Diablo II: Resurrected are not currently playable on Switch. In a post on its company blog, Blizzard stated, "We are working closely with our platform partners to ensure a successful launch of Diablo II: Resurrected on all platforms," but the company did not explain why Switch is not one of the supported platforms. However, those who pre-order the game on Switch will receive the Heritage of Arreat transmogrifier at the game's launch. Multiplayer Capabilities With Linked Progress Cross-progression is supported in both the early access and open beta tests; however, in order to participate in the early access beta, you will need to have a pre-ordered copy of Resurrected or the Prime Evil Collection on each platform. With regard to the game's multiplayer component, there is room for up to eight players at once. What Can Be Played and How Both Act I: The Sightless Eye and Act II: The Secret of the Vizjerei will be available to play in the open beta test as well as the early access test. In addition, the newly crafted cinematics for both chapters are playable in the tests. Early access and beta testing give players the opportunity to try out five of the game's seven different playable classes. These classes include the Amazon, Barbarian, Sorceress, Druid, and Paladin. At launch, players will have access to both the Assassin and the Necromancer classes. Progress The progress made during the early access test of Diablo II: Resurrected is carried forward into the open beta. However, Blizzard has not stated whether or not this progress also applies to the launch of the full game. Diablo 2: Resurrected was released earlier this week, and Diablo 2 ladder runes for sale is likely the first opportunity that many players will have to enjoy the masterpiece that Blizzard created. Additionally, in contrast to the original game, which could only be played on a personal computer, this iteration is compatible with a wider variety of gaming platforms, such as the PlayStation 5 and the Nintendo Switch. Because your progress from one system will carry over to another if you follow a few fundamental steps, we do mean and rather than or when we talk about this. But how exactly does the cross-progression work in Diablo 2: Resurrected? We'll give you a quick summary now. What Exactly Is the Cross-Progression in Diablo 2: Resurrected? Cross-progression is a feature that is separate from cross-play; it does not mean that you will be able to play with a friend on a PC if you are using an Xbox Series X console. Instead, cross-progression enables you to play your character on one platform and then continue from where you left off on another. This can be done across multiple platforms. If your friend only plays on PlayStation and you prefer to play on your personal computer, you will still be able to play cooperatively with them even if you temporarily switch over to PlayStation. You were only able to compete against other players who had the same gaming system as you in Diablo 3, as the game did not include cross-play or this particular feature. You will still need to purchase the game independently on each of the platforms that you plan to use. How to Enable the Cross-Progression System in Diablo 2: Resurrected You simply need to have a Battle. net account that is connected to the specific platform in question in order to accomplish this. There is a good chance that you are already familiar with this process if you have played Diablo 3 or Overwatch on a console in the past. There are a few different routes you can take if you haven't already. You can link Battle. net to whatever platform you're using by selecting the "Link Accounts" box from the "Options" menu on the game screen. After that, a browser will open, and you will need to sign in before you can link Battle. net to your platform. Logging in through your phone or computer is the more convenient option. After logging into Battle. net, navigate to the Connections page, click the Connect button, choose the gaming platforms you intend to use, and then sign in to each of those platforms using the websites specific to them. The release of Diablo 2: Resurrected occurs at the same time that Activision Blizzard is facing allegations of sexual harassment and workplace intimidation, as well as maintaining a frat boy culture. The state of California has filed a lawsuit against the company, and the SEC is investigating the matter. |
