Despite the fact that there is no such thing as "winning" in Animal Crossing: New Horizons on the Nintendo Switch, if you want to unlock the game's numerous features as quickly as possible, it's a good idea to complete certain objectives each day.  We're happy to walk you through the game's early stages because we've experienced it firsthand. Despite the fact that there is no such thing as "winning" in Animal Crossing: New Horizons on the Nintendo Switch, if you want to unlock the game's numerous features as quickly as possible, it's a good idea to complete certain objectives each day.  Because we've been through the game's early stages, we're happy to walk you through the procedures that will ensure the timely arrival of certain franchise mainstays such as the Museum, the Shop, and a variety of other features. Would you like to join us, please? you through the procedures that will ensure the prompt arrival of certain franchise mainstays such as the Museum, the Shop, and other attractions. Would you like to join us, please?

WHAT TO DO ON THE FIRST DAY

You'll begin by selecting the location of your campsite, as well as the campsites of the other two villagers who have been assigned to you. Because you won't be able to change these locations for a long time (and even then, only at a significant expense), make your selection carefully.

You will be given some simple objectives (collecting Tree Branches and Fruit) after you have placed everyone's tents by Tom Nook (the big raccoon in the sweater). Finish this and get ready to go to the party. After that, you are welcome to take a nap because that is when the real game will begin.

Following your awakening, you will be playing in real time (which means it will be nighttime if it is nighttime in your location). Make sure to talk to everyone in the village because you might be able to score some animal crossing new horizons bells e or a recipe just for being a good neighbor.

Nook will provide you with the instructions for making "flimsy" tools. You'll want to make a flimsy fishing rod as well as a flimsy bug net for your fishing expedition.

AIM #1: DONATE 5 FISH OR BUGS TO TOM NOOK FOR RESEARCH.

Make use of your fishing rod and net to collect the various bugs and fish that you'll encounter on your tropical island vacation. On your first day, you'll only require five different types of critters. Nook will reward you with an axe recipe and a watering can recipe after you have donated five. He'll also call his friend, Blathers the Owl, and invite him to visit the island in order to establish a museum.

Please keep in mind that if you are playing on a Switch with other people, only the primary account holder (the person who first started playing) has the ability to donate items to Nook. If you want to make any headway, you'll need the primary account holder to complete their five donations.

Make a decision on where Blathers' Museum will be located. You'll want to choose a location that's convenient for you because you'll be there a lot.

If you've collected more than five creatures on your first day, make a note of any unusual finds in or around your tent and keep them safe until your next day. If you run out of room, you can strew items on the ground in front of your tent until you find more space. Don't be concerned: they will be safe. If you happen to come across two of the same creature, you are welcome to sell the duplicates.

Tom Nook's debt is the second-most important goal.

The pleasure of relocating to Tom's island will cost you 5,000 Nook Miles Tickets (approximately 50,000 Bells) in addition to your time. You'll want to take care of this debt as soon as possible. The work shouldn't be too taxing because you'll be earning Nook Miles simply by completing various objectives (such as collecting 10 bugs or selling Clumps of Grass). Many of these objectives will be completed without your involvement, but you should feel free to browse through your Nook Phone to see if there are any tasks that you can complete.

Keep in touch with Nook and accept his offer to help you build a home after that..........................................

3rd BIG GOAL: EXPAND YOUR INVENTORY SPACE AND PURCHASE THE TOOL RING

However, if you plan on spending an inordinate amount of time on launch day, you may find yourself with an excessive amount of Nook Miles in your possession. To purchase the Pocket Organization Guide for 5,000 Nook Miles, go to Nook's tent and use the ATM-looking machine that looks like it belongs in an ATM. This will add another row to your inventory, which will come in handy in a number of situations.

Purchasing the Tool Ring for 800 Nook Miles is another optional but easy-to-recommend purchase. This allows you to quickly switch between tools by pressing the Up button on the D-pad.

KEY OBJECTIVE 4 – HARVEST RESOURCES

Take a walk around your town and look for four stones. Take out your axe and smack each of the rocks in the face with it. You can hit each rock multiple times (up to eight times if you're lightning fast), and each will spit out resources such as Stones, Clay, and Iron Nuggets if you're quick enough to do so. Bells will be spit out by one of the four starting rocks as well.

It is necessary to harvest Wood after you have hit all of the rocks and collected all of the resources. Use the same axe to hit each tree on your island three times, and then collect the Softwood, Hardwood, and Wood that falls from each tree's branches. Using the Wooden Sticks you collect from shaking trees, you can make a new axe if your old one breaks during this process.

Important: Avoid crafting anything that requires Iron Nuggets unless absolutely necessary. It is likely that you will require 30 Iron Nuggets in the near future, and they are difficult to come by in the early stages of the game. As soon as you've completed all of the steps listed above, you can save your game and get ready for Day 2.
